Le Juliette Dodu is located in Saint-Denis town centre, in the house where national heroine Juliette Dodu was born. The hotel was once the property of the French East India Company and is built in the form of a small Creole palace, with décor in shades of pastel, elegant parquet and tiled floors, and period furniture. It contains a total of 43 rooms and suites, all equipped with minibar, electronic safe, hairdryer, and shower or bathtub. The library in the small air-conditioned lounge has a collection of guides to La Réunion and its sister islands for guests to peruse. The restaurant is open evenings only and serves Creole cuisine.
