Lough Owel Lodge

Guests can also revel in idyllic walks and superb angling and sailing on the house’s tranquil lake shores. Farmstay Experience Lough Owel Lodge in Westmeath is a working farm where guests can enjoy walking through the fields to the lake mingling with the cows and calves on the way.  Guests might be lucky enough to be at the farm to see the new born lambs in the spring and all guests are very welcome to interact with the two resident donkeys Sonny and Cher who are always on the lookout for something nice to eat!  If during the guest visit there is a farmyard activity with the animals they are welcome to look on.
