The Borgo Antico Hotel has its origins as a residential country house and farm of 'Nonno Raffaele'. Here his family used to spend most of the days farming and growing grain and vines, taking vegetables that the mother land was offering. Signs of that past time are still visible today: fruit trees that every year give us fresh adn juicy pears, walnuts (very famous is the 'Nocino' liqueur made with this fruit). The family aswell's grown: nowadays they enjoy growing radish and wild fennel, preparing also small quantities of typical liqueurs.
