This charming and unique property is perched majestically in the pristine wilderness adjacent to Cradle Mountain. Barely 10km "as the crow flies", Cradle Mountain is a comfortable 30 minute drive from this wilderness oasis by way of its own 8km access road to the main highway to Dove Lake and Cradle Mountain. A range of accommodation options include wilderness cabins surrounded by massive man ferns. They feature ensuites with several also offering spa facilities. Private balconies allow you to immerse yourself in nature. Step outside and inhale the fresh alpine air and very likely spot an abundance of native wildlife. These cabins are ideal for couples whilst families will enjoy the 2 bedroom self contained cabins featuring loft bedrooms. Luxury Spa Suites offer the ultimate in romantic hideaways with king beds, gas fires, spacious bathrooms with huge spa baths to soak in whilst enjoying the views of pristine wilderness. The main lodge building was built of massive logs from Ponderosa Pine and is home to reception, guest lounge, bar and restaurant. Free wifi is available in reception area. PLEASE NOTE - IMPORTANT INFORMATION! Lemonthyme Wilderness Retreat is located in Dolcoath Road, approximately 8km from the turn off at Cradle Mountain Road. This is a well maintained gravel road which takes you through pristine wilderness before arriving amongst massive man ferns surrounding Lemonthyme. Allow up to 15 minutes travel time via this gravel road. If discussing travel time with visitors, please note as follows: Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre - 30 mins drive Sheffield - 45 minutes Devonport - 1 hour 20 mins Launceston - 2 hours Hobart - 4.5 hours Strahan - 2.5 hours Wifi access is available from the main lodge only.
