BENGUERRA LODGE

The hotel is situated on beautiful Benguerra Island in the Bazaruto Archipelago, Mozambique. It is located on a gorgeous beach washed by the warm, turquoise waters. All rooms are a step away from the beach, with beautiful sea views. The lodge works closely with the local community to conserve and protect the pristine marine environment.This is a small, intimate lodge offering personalized service and luxury. There are 13 guest rooms at this beach hotel. Guests are welcomed in a lobby and facilities include a hotel safe, 2 bars, a restaurant and wireless Internet access (the latter incurs extra fees). Guests can take advantage of the laundry services on offer.The hotel guest rooms are spacious and luxurious with beautiful sea views. Each room has an en suite bathroom with a bath and a hairdryer. Guests can enjoy a good night's rest on their double bed. Internet access, a safe, minibar, and tea and coffee making facilities are standard features in all accommodation units.Each room has its own private outdoor plunge pool and deck. The hotel offers parasols and 28 private lounge chairs on the sandy beach. Guests can enjoy snorkelling or scuba diving over pristine coral reefs or simply relax on secluded beaches as the lodge has a fully equipped dive centre, where guests can book scuba diving excursions, diving courses or snorkel trips (fees apply). Fly fishing is available from the lodge. Guests can also go catamaran boating (fees apply), canoeing or horse riding (fees apply) during their stay. A small spa offers massages, manicures and pedicures (fees apply).The hotel operates on a full-board basis, offering all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and snacks. Options also include private beach dinners.There is an 8-minute air transfer from Vilanculos Airport to Benguerra Island. Two options are available, either a helicopter transfer or a light aircraft transfer. From the landing strip, there is a transfer by Land Rover to the lodge.
