It was a relatively isolated area until recently and is now a popular tourist spot. Mobor lies on a narrow spit of sand dunes between the Arabian Sea and Assolna River Estuary at the end of the a 7 mile long sand beach stretching all the way from Colva. Souvenirs, gifts antiques and handicrafts are available to take back home from the local beachside shops.
