Is located by the harbour in Hofn in Hornafjordur. It can feel the sheer force of nature alongside Europe's largest glacier, the 8,100 km2 expanse of Vatnajokull, which covers 8% of Iceland. Next to it is the smaller Skálafellsjokull glacier. The nearby Skaftafell National Park is a must-see, as well as Jokulsarlon glacial lagoon, the spectacular setting for the James Bond movie.
