location: Centrally located and only a stones throw from the pedestrianised shopping streets, around the corner from "Stortorget" and near Malmo train station where there are frequent trains to Stockholm, the rest of Sweden, Kastrup Airport and to Copenhagen Central Station. rooms: Rooms are decorated in two different schemes, a traditional rich English style and a lighter Swedish style. All rooms are well equipped and come with a comfortable Grand Lit bed (140 cm) and smart furnishings. The bathrooms are all in good condition. restaurant: Breakfast is served in the medieval vaulted breakfast room under the hotel. exterior: This is a very traditional building of the area with history dating back to the 13th century, both Danish and Swedish Kings have visited this remarkable building when it functioned as the residence of the governor of Malmö. lobby: The lobby is medium in size and complements the property very well. Coffee/ tea and fruit is normally available in the cosy lounge adjoining the lounge complimentary. The lobby also offers wireless internet access as does approx 70% of ther hotel. general: This is a charming and centrally located property which was voted Best Hotel in Malmo in 2003 andamp; 2004. It offers the chance to stay in a 700 year old historic building whilst being near transport links and restaurants.
