IALLYSSOS BAY

The Ialyssos Bay Hotel is an impressive 4-star hotel right on a sand and pebble beach in the village of Ialyssos. Made up of a main building, where all the double rooms and the main restaurant and bar can be found, and groups of bungalows in the grounds, the hotel has a great choice of accommodation for both families and couples.\n\nWithin the palm tree filled gardens is a large freshwater swimming pool, plus a separate children's pool. The surrounding sun terrace is spacious and lined with loungers and umbrellas. Close to the pool is a snack bar where guests can get refreshments throughout the day. Inside the hotel is a main restaurant where buffet breakfast and dinner is served and a bar that stays open until late.\n\nThe hotel has a huge choice of activities on offer for the whole family such as mini-golf, table tennis and a children's playground. There's also the opportunity to play darts and tennis or go windsurfing. After dark Greek evenings often take place. \n\n##Location\n The Ialyssos Bay Hotel is located in Ialyssos, a beach resort on the north coast of Rhodes. The main appeal of Ialyssos is its beaches with a mix of sand and pebbles, safe water to swim in and a whole host of exciting water sports to try. The resort is only a short drive from historic Rhodes Town. \n\n##Accomodation\n There are 174 double rooms plus 23 studios accommodating two guests and 35 that can sleep up to four guests. The double rooms have either a sea or garden/pool view, while the studios have peaceful views of the hotel gardens. All the rooms and studios have a balcony, air-conditioning, en-suite bathroom with a bath, satellite TV, mini-fridge and a hairdryer. Certain amenities may be payable locally. \n\n##Eating and Drinking\n The hotel's main restaurant is decorated in a medieval style and serves American buffet breakfast and buffet dinner that includes Greek dishes. There's also an á la carte snack bar close to the pool plus a main bar located within the hotel that serves coffee, drinks, snacks and cocktails until late. \n\n##Swimming Pools\n The hotel has two outdoor freshwater pools. The main pool is large and surrounded by a sun terrace with plenty of loungers and umbrellas. The other pool is a smaller one for children.
